Pet for Moe? What about O P O S S U M.

i think Boe would love an opossum!!! while i love that thought, ive been trying to create this little beast creature that's basically shaped like a dog, in the same way chain chomps from mario are basically dogs, yknow. i imagine something like that would work really well when combined with Boe's design. ive got the kind of mouth and eye id want for the design, but i haven't figured out the shape i want... or ive tried but nothing stuck for me.

above is basically the main shapes im going for with his mouth and eyes, with the top left being it's neutral face, then bottom right just being it opening it's mouth (from left to right, is his mouth, then his eye, for both of the sketches). ive tried giving him some oval-esque shape with stubby legs, but it hasn't clicked with me yet. what is he? i don't know, just some kind of hell dog. walks around on four stubby little legs and just eats junk i guess. i can imagine Boe taking this dude on a walk and their designs fitting with eachother.
